Dr. Sneed graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine, Madison Wisconsin. He was an intern at Riverside Hospital in Newport News, Virginia, and completed his residency at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Dr. Sneed completed a fellowship in Vitreo-Retinal Diseases and Surgery at the University of Iowa. He was an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Michigan until joining Retinal Consultants of Arizona. Dr. Sneed has been co-investigator in several multi-center studies pertaining to age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, macular edema, melanoma and endophthalmitis. He is a co-editor of the text Laser Surgery in Ophthalmology: Practical Applications.
