Sara Fox, MD grew up in the Metro Detroit area and is board-certified in Internal Medicine. She practices as a primary care physician with an interest in preventative medicine, women's health, depression/ anxiety, obesity, and management of chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol. She believes that primary care is about the doctor-patient partnership and enjoys educating her patients on lifestyle changes to promote good health. Dr. Fox received her undergraduate degree from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids then obtained her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. During her studies she spent time volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and local free clinics. Upon graduation from medical school, Dr. Fox completed her residency at the Detroit Medical Center. She then spent two years after residency in Ann Arbor gaining patient care experience before deciding to settle down back home in Metro Detroit.
