Founded in 2004, Hardy Elementary serves more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school offers various academic and extracurricular activities to students. It offers food, counseling and transportation services. Hardy Elementary also conducts classes for physical education, music and art. In addition, the school provides a variety of services, including resource room teachers and speech and language and reading recovery. It has a library and media center that includes a collection of books and reference sets. Hardy Elementary additionally administers the Michigan Educational Assessment Program (MEAP), as well as conducts the Cognitive Abilities Test (COAT). The school is located in South Lyon, Mich.
