Doctors Hospital of Michigan, formerly North Oakland Medical Centers and Oakland County s first hospital, is licensed for 336 beds and is home to a variety of medical services including: Acute Medical Surgery, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Radiation Oncology, Emergency Centers (Pontiac and Waterford) and a Family Medicine Practice. The hospital also runs an award-winning Family Medicine Residency Program. In addition, Doctors Hospital of Michigan is home to Euro-Peds, the world s first and only hospital-based intensive physical therapy program for children with Cerebral Palsy and other neuromuscular disorders. Other off-campus services include an Ambulatory Care Center in Waterford (including Walk-In Emergency, Radiology, Lab, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Medicine), Radiology services in Clarkston and RT Specialists, a durable medical equipment company.
