History

For it's first three years Planet Ant was a Coffee House, then in 1996 the space was converted into a theatre. It has remained a theater ever since. We're home to Metro-Detroit's longest running improv comedy show as well as some of the area's best scripted productions.

They have any kind of live performance you want to see. They have improv, Stand-up in the back room (The Independent Comedy Club) every weekend, live music, burlesque and drag shows frequently....
