History
In December of 2008, after working at a variety of clinics in West Michigan for about eight years, Jim Owens opened Owens Physical Therapy Specialists with hopes of restoring the specialized, one-on-one, patient-oriented care that initially drew him to the practice of physical therapy. In November of 2010, his wife Melissa, who is also a physical therapist, joined him at the practice.

Locally owned & operating since 2008, we are conveniently located on Michigan Street just west of the East Beltline. We provide the quality one-on-one physical therapy that patients deserve & prefer. Each patient will receive personalized care from a licensed physical therapist for the entire visit, each visit. Because we are a small clinic with only two physical therapists, patients will typically have the gym almost to themselves as we do not double book. Patients will see the same therapist for each treatment.
