OMT-Veyhl USA Corporation was formed at the end of 2005 by our two parent companies: OMT, located in the North of Germany and Veyhl, in the South. OMT was founded in 1946 and Veyhl in 1951. For many years, these two companies are the European leaders in the ergonomic office furniture systems industry.In 2004, OMT and Veyhl became "partners" , creating a very strong alliance with worldwide potential. In 2005, planning began for OMT-Veyhl America. Holland, MI was chosen for our location because it is the hub of the office furniture industry in the United States. This puts us closer to our customers, and it gives us access to some of the best and brightest people in the office furniture industry.This relationship provides us with key strengths we wouldn't have otherwise.In Germany, OMT-VEYHL has superior prototype manufacturing facilities, state-of-the-art tube and sheet metal processing machinery, in-house tooling, powder coating and chroming equipment, and some of the most highly motivated and imaginative people in the industry.
