James Nagy ( with his five sons ) began repairing tractors and farm equipment for friends and neighbors on the family farm not far from Sterling, Michigan during the 1940's. In 1946, he decided to go into business and opened a commercial repair facility in Sterling. Two years later they started selling Minneapolis Moline farm tractors. Over time, this expanded to include a variety of outdoor power equipment, including chainsaws, garden tractors, farm implements, and even sold American Motors cars for 25 years. Over the years, one by one, the five brothers left the business to pursue other opportunities. Dan Nagy joined his father George in 1981 as a full time employee and remains still today, running the business his grandfather started. Since then the business has grown well beyond the humble repair shop in Sterling.
