Micro Auto Group is a family owned company that was founded in Detroit, Michigan in 1948 by Howard Hicks. Micro started off repairing and chrome plating OEM bumpers before quickly expanding by acquiring several automotive firms in the Metro-Detroit area. Making a huge leap Howard Sr. took a chance at the aftermarket paint industry as a BASF Jobber located in Highland Park. Simultaneously Micro grew services even more by entering the market for plastic molding of fascias. Micro Auto Group has grown tremendously with seven locations and four departments! The four departments include: Auto Parts, Auto Paint, Chrome Plating, and Injection Molding. Today, Micro Auto Group is recognized as an award winning company and industry leader.
