Michigan Catholic Conference, also known as MCC serves as the official voice of the Catholic church in Michigan on matters related to public policies, such as religious freedom, human life, health care, education, and children and families. The organization develops, coordinates and manages programs that provide retirement benefit, health, dental, disability and life insurance coverage for lay employees and clergies. It also offers property and casualty coverage plans. Michigan Catholic Conference addresses federal legislative issues in partnership with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Its risk management and claims services department administers the Protected Loss Fund Program. Michigan Catholic Conference has been in operation since 1963.
