Maybury Childcare opened in July of 2010 and is operated by Executive Director Lori Sawle, who also co-owns the Northville location. The Canton center is on the west side of Lilley Road, just north of Cherry Hill Road. Maybury Childcare has designed its teaching approach around a "structured daily schedule," which is intended to help kids of all ages adapt to a specified learning pace. The center runs a shuttle service to and from local schools, has a large playground for students and offers access to computers for the older kids. Aside from its on-site classes, Maybury Childcare is heavily active in the Canton community, sponsoring numerous annual events, including the Liberty Fest, the Fishing Derby and the Christmas Tree-Lighting Ceremony.
