Central Distributors of Beer is one of the largest Anheuser-Busch wholesalers in the state of Michigan, and one of the largest in the country, distributing Anheuser-Busch products to more than 1,700 retail outlets in western Wayne County. Central is a family owned business that was established in 1933 by Jack Gorsuch. It has grown to become one of the most modern and progressive wholesalers in the country. The company started with one office and two trucks in Detroit. After several expansions and moves, the company arrived at its headquarters on nearly 15 acres. The facility has a capacity for storing more than 690,120 cases, and nearly 8,950 barrels of Anheuser-Busch products in a controlled environment.
