Madison School is one of three Wyandotte special education schools. While Madison is part of Wyandotte Public Schools, it serves students from 17 Downriver communities. The Lincoln Center is geared toward students with cognitive impairments, multiple impairments and autistic spectrum disorder. Students range in age from 3 to 14 years old.
Students are able to receive specialized assistance with speech and language therapy, occupational and physical therapy, and behavioral issues. The school also partners with several area business owners who provide students with opportunities to learn in a real work setting.
