HistoryI have been DJing since 2007, and in 2012 I decided to turn it into a business. I have been collecting records since I was a child. My first record was Michael Jackson's Thriller album. I have since grown my collection to over 2000 records. Genres within the collection include Big Band, Lounge, Rock n Roll, 80's, Metal, Classical, Opera, Polka, Organ, Christmas, and Dance. I perform for weddings, charity events, birthday parties, graduations, and house parties. I have also set-up and controlled sound and lights for bands. I am currently growing my light collection and always adding more music. I discovered, in 2009, Serato Scratch Live, a DJ program that controls music files on the computer via encoded vinyl on a turntable. Through the use of Serato and my new Rane mixer I was able to create a better DJ experience, that is more fun and entertaining.SpecialtiesProfessional DJ and Audio / Visual Technician. Over 25 lights available. I play all events from small charity fund raisers to large weddings. I have a very wide selection of music beyond the radio top 40. I own over 2000 vinyl records. I often use my turntables in association with my computer to keep the music flowing. My personal favorite genres of music are Dance, Swing, Lounge, Big Band, Classic Rock, 80's, Metal, Country, Classical, Showtunes, Jazz, Drum & Bass, Jungle, Polkas, Punk, Irish traditional and Irish modern. So as you can see my tastes can flex over a wide variety of music. I will not constantly interrupt the music with DJ banter, I will refrain from doing the chicken dance unless requested, I don't wish to blast the music at max volume so that everyone is deaf.
