Home Repair Services is a nonprofit organization that serves low-income homeowners throughout Kent County, Mich. The center provides a variety of tools and accessories on rental basis, including power saws, electric drills, ladders and hand tools. Home Repair Services is a member of the Home and Building Association of Greater Grand Rapids and is approved by the Housing Counseling Agency. It has a professional home ownership counselor who provides financial counseling services in the areas of foreclosures and delinquent mortgages. In addition, the center maintains a staff of service technicians that provides maintenance and repair services. Home Repair Services is located in Grand Rapids, Mich.
