Wildwood Ranch has been owned and operated by the Detroit Rescue Mission since 1974. Its motto is "Sharing God's grace with youth - one at a time." To that end, the ranch offers a range of outdoor activities from May through November to provide kids with a variety of experiences and to develop knowledge in a Christian atmosphere. Those activities include horse riding lessons taught by CHA-certified instructors, adventure camps and equestrian camps. Wildwood Ranch also offers lakeside cabins for rent by groups of 10 or more. Each cabin has access to all of the ranch's facilities, including horseback riding, and is available year round.
