The Hartland Child Care Center offers day care, pre-school and before- and after-school programs. It specializes in infant care by accepting babies as young as two and half weeks old. It also is open 12 months a year and isn't linked to school closures for inclement weather. The building, also called the "51 Building" after the year it was completed, has been a district elementary and high school. The day care program has been in place for about 25 years.
