Immaculate Heart of Mary School
Founded in 1952, Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic School serves more than 400 students in preschool through grade eight. The school s academic curriculum includes English, language arts, math, science, social studies, Spanish, art, music, computer applications, and religious and physical education. It also organizes a variety of athletic activities that includes football, basketball, volleyball, softball, soccer, cheerleading, and track and field. Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic School maintains a gymnasium, library, playground, cafeteria, computer laboratory and classrooms. Its library provides a range of course-related study and leisure reading materials. Additionally, the school offers special education programs and related services to students with special needs. Located in Grand Rapids, Mich., it employs over 25 staff members.
