It all started when we had this crazy idea about opening a restaurant. Then, in late 2019, we had the opportunity to purchase a commercial building. Two weeks after closing on the property (in February 2020), we entered a global pandemic. We were able to open for take out only in April of 2020, and opened the dining room in June. We were forced to shut down in December 2020 due to rising cases and limited staff. We very recently reopened (April 29, 2021). COVID has presented many challenges, but we look at reopening as a new beginning. We are happy to be here!

Here at Goody's, you will find the best smoked meats and BBQ this area has to offer. We take pride in purchasing from local businesses and distributors. All breads, buns, and pies are provided by a local bakery. We believe in scratch made food here - we make everything in house, down to shredding cabbage for coleslaw and hand-slicing potatoes.
