History

Four Legged Rascals started in 2008 to offer training to help solve behavior issues in dogs and cats in a fun way that the whole family can understand and be a part of. Our experienced trainers started training in 2001 at the Pet Education Center with the Michigan Humane Society. When the department closed we decided to use a similar program in order to help train dogs and cats.

Specialties

Our certified instructors specialize in group dog training offered in Bloomfield Hills and Ann Arbor and in-home training in Oakland, Wayne and West Macomb County. We also offer training and testing for the AKC Canine Good Citizen. Training is all based on positive reinforcement using treats, praise and toys as rewards.

Canine Academy

All courses also address common canine behavioral issues such as mouthing, stealing and barking for attention. Metamora suggests clients start training as early as 12 weeks to help pets and their families learn proper behaviors.
