History
Flour Child Bakery began as a dream of Beth Augustine and really advanced while Beth perfected her craft as an artisan baker preparing her goods in her home kitchen and selling them at local farmer's markets. In 2016 Beth and her husband Terrance took her dream to the next level by opening a storefront in downtown Grand Ledge. After over two years of success, Beth and Terrance doubled the size of the bakery adding room for seating, public restrooms and a much larger kitchen in December of 2018. In February of 2019, the bakery expanded into a Cafe when it introduced breakfast and lunch sandwiches and salads to its menu and expanded its hours to be open all day from 6am to 7pm Tuesdays through Fridays and 6am to 2pm on Saturdays.

Flour Child Bakery is a locally owned made from scratch family bakery that specializes in creating over 14 different fresh Bagels daily as well as very creative and whimsical treats including croissants, pastries, cookies, scones, tarts, brownies, bars, cannoli, sweet rolls and much more. The bakery also serves breakfast sandwiches on either a fresh daily hand-rolled bagel of your choice or a delicious made from scratch flaky croissant. You can now also enjoy a made to order lunch sandwich or salad. Flour Child Bakery proudly serves locally roasted MadCap brewed Coffee and French Presses.
