Masri Sweets is a bustling shop started by Khader and Susan Masri that specializes in a variety of Arab sweets. The shop carries on the tradition of Khader's father, who started serving kunafe and sweets in the city of Nablus at the turn of the century. Mr. and Mrs. Masri opened up Masri Sweets in Dearborn in 1988. In a cozy shop with tile floors, orange walls, plants and lots of windows, customers order their selections at the counter. There is casual seating for about twenty people inside as well as seating for a dozen people outdoors on the patio. Many customers just come in to pick up a box of sweets to take home or to give as gifts. These all-natural products are also available online and can be shipped anywhere in the country.
