Fortesa Restaurant & Bar

Fortesa is nestled along the banks of Paint Creek on Main Street in the River Square Shopping Center. You are first greeted by a magnificently lighted fountain, with ample parking, complementary valet and outside seating. On the inside is one of Rochester's newest upscale restaurants with an old world charm and modern elegance. There's an area set up for private parties, a dining room set in front of a fire place, one enclosed table, another set of tables set in the back, a cozy bar area with wide seats and fine leather booths, and more outside seating in the back over looking the Paint Creek. Even without all this luxury and ambiance, the food is what is creating a loyal following for of all those that try Fortesa. The wine list is skillfully selected by the sommelier to complement any of the appetizers, entrees or desserts on the menu. Chef Murray's culinary technique allows him to prepare meals sure to satisfy any palate. With tasty appetizers, delicious entrees and a fine wine list, all at very reasonable prices, Fortesa is sure to become the crown jewel of downtown Rochester.
