The Clinton Township Housing Commission, established by the federal government in 1968, provides safe, decent and sanitary housing to low-income families. Apartment and townhouse units are available with floor plans from one to five bedrooms, and certain units are designated for seniors. Monthly rent is calculated to equal 30 percent of a given tenant's adjusted annual income. The complex offers a lunch program and is a Meals On Wheels location. A lighted playground and basketball court are available. The community is near schools, churches, shopping and bus lines. It is operated by a board of commissioners that has public monthly meetings.
