The Child and Family Resource Council is a nonprofit, prevention-based organization that offers a range of services for children and families of Kent County in Michigan. It provides various community training, information, child abuse and neglect prevention, developmental, support, and life- and parenting-skills services. The organization administers the RAVE Program, also known as Resources Against Violent Encounters, which includes education, awareness and advocacy through trained professionals. The Child and Family Resource Council offers support and guidance services for parents through its Healthy Start program. The organization also offers assistance in the areas of transportation and child- and medical care.
