Biewer Sawmills are fully automated, modern, high-tech facilities located in McBain, Mich. and Prentice, Wis. in the heart of Red Pine country. Its sawmills provide the highest quality building products for its customers. Biewer encourages environmentally responsible sustainable forestry practices, and employs several foresters at each mill to manage timber procurement. Logs that are procured for Biewer Sawmills have been harvested from federal, state, county and private lands. Biewer Sawmills, a division of Biewer Lumber, is one of the few treaters that saw its own lumber. The mill specializes in Red Pine, but can also process other species, such as white and Jack Pine. Biewer Lumber manufactures and distributes products for a wide variety of building applications. These products are of the highest quality for use in appearance and traditional construction markets. Biewer Lumber includes three pressure-treated lumber and distribution facilities, two modern sawmills and a state-of-the-art composite plant, all of which serve customers throughout the United States.
