Established in 1919, Proos Manufacturing Company has been in business for more than 85 years. The company has come a long way from its beginning days as a manufacturer of casket hardware and then as a tool and die shop. It is an ISO-certified manufacturer that creates sophisticated metal stamping products, welded assemblies, custom electrical products and downtrollers. Still family owned and operated, its management team involves four generations of Proos. The company has more than 80 employees that work in two product divisions that consist of automotive and electrical solutions. It specializes in prototypes and quick, small manufacturing runs and owns several presses that can meet practically any metal stamping need.
