The American Legion is a worldwide nonprofit community-service organization for veterans. American Legion Post 374 is the Berkley branch. The group regularly hosts social events and happy hours for veterans. Wednesday is a "beer day" with $1 beers and Thursdays are "all-you-can-eat" buffet dinners for $7.

The Legion has one more Fish Fry tomorrow starting at 4pm. BEST fish in the area. There will be a band / DJ afterwards. Come for the Fish, stay for the music and good times. Starting next month...

First and foremost the bartenders and cooks are awesome! Beer is cheap and cold and food is good! If you can get in this is a great stop! It's a members club but maybe you have a friend that is...

Fish fry was horrible. Fish was greasy and soggy, fries were like cardboard. A Filet-O-Fish & fries from McDonalds would have been better, yes it was that bad.

The VFW Berkley Post 9222 is a local meeting place for veterans of foreign wars. It offers seasonal meetings and gatherings for local veterans. The VFW helps veterans with medical, insurance and financial benefits. Glen Gardner and Tommy Tradewell are the local leaders. Its hall is also available for rent for small gatherings. Senior and volume discounts are available.

Located just off Union Lake road, the White Lake VFW hall offers ample parking for members and guests. Serving as a lodge to Armed Service members, both past and present, this VFW also rents its space to those seeking an area for a wedding reception, banquet, or other activity. While some events are members-only, the VFW also encourages community engagement with various activities throughout the year.
