Farmington Central High School provides an opportunity for students ages 16-19 to complete their secondary education in an alternative setting. Students receive personalized attention to meet their educational goals, from faculty rated as "highly qualified" as defined by the federal No Child Left Behind Act.
Eighty-three percent of FCHS graduates are enrolled in community colleges. The school maintains a collaborative relationship with Farmington Community Schools' Early Childhood program. Service learning is emphasized throughout the school year. The school has an active Parent Teacher Student Association, and was the first high school in the district to establish a PTSA.
