As you pull into the parking lot of this tiny bar across the street from the Grosse Ile Airport, you are reminded of a friendly little tavern you might find in the Upper Peninsula. That impression continues when you enter to find space for a half-dozen patrons at the mahogany bar and a dozen tables and booths. Pride of place is given to the pool table. The rustic appearance belies its friendliness, however. Although this is obviously a place for friends and neighbors to congregate, strangers are welcomed without reservation.
