Lindberg & Sons have built many miles of roads throughout the upper peninsula of Michigan as well as the lower peninsula of Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota. The company is also a producer of aggregate materials that are used for applications such as concrete aggregate, asphalt aggregate, road gravel and sub base, foundation stone, erosion control, as well as architectural or landscaping purposes. This wide selection of stone aggregate, sand, gravel and topsoil is manufactured in several pits and quarries which are owned or controlled by Lindberg. A. Lindberg is a member of the American Road & Transportation Builders Association, the Michigan Infrastructure & Transportation Association, Associated General Contractors of America and an Associate Member of Michigan Asphalt Paving Association (MAPA). The company was founded in 1919 by Alfred J. Lindberg who along with his three sons, Walter, Stanley, and Alfred, established a road building construction firm.
