Linden Map
Linden is a city in Genesee County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,861 at the 2000 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.4 square miles (6.3 km²), of which, 2.4 square miles (6.2 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (1.24%) is water.
Linden was established in the 19th century and named after the Linden tree. Downtown centers around the intersection of Broad Street and Bridge Street, where small shops, parlors, and restaurants lined the streets.
