Montgomery Village is a northern suburb of Gaithersburg in an unincorporated area in Montgomery County, Maryland, United States. It is a large, planned suburban community, developed in the late 1960s and 1970s right outside Gaithersburg city limits. Montgomery Village is a part of the Greater Gaithersburg Area which has a population of over 200,000 people.
Although Montgomery Village is an unincorporated area, its boundaries are defined according to Montgomery County zoning rules and by its own unique zipcode.
