Y.O.U. (Youth Opportunities Upheld) is one of the leading children welfare and behavioral health organizations in Central Massachusetts. It offers a range of social, psychological, educational, vocational and rehabilitative programs for at-risk children, adolescents and families. Founded in 1971, the organization provides court diversion and prevention services to troubled adolescents. Y.O.U. operates more than 30 programs and serves over 8,000 people annually. It provides home- and clinic-based counseling programs and volunteer opportunities. The organization offers crisis stabilization services through referrals from hospital emergency rooms, emergency mental health screening teams and managed care companies. In addition, Y.O.U., offers rapid reintegration programs, as well as occupational, music and adventure-based therapies. The organization maintains a location in Worcester, Mass.
