History
Yogman Pediatrics began in 1989. Previously Dr. Yogman was working fulltime at Children's Hospital with Dr. T. Berry Brazelton, one of the foremost authorities on pediatrics and child development. Upon Dr. T. Berry Brazelton's retirement Dr. Yogman was invited to take over his private practice. In 1998 the practice moved to its present location on Mt. Auburn Street, which has the advantages of ample parking and a laboratory in the building. In 2008 the office moved from paper records to an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and began the process of transforming the practice to a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH). With funding from a federal grant in 2013 the practice achieved a level 3 PCMH accreditation under the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Further grant funding has enabled the practice to offer co-located behavioral health services so that Doctors Yogman, Need, Roitfarb and and O'Connor, along with Susan Betjemann can truly care for the whole child.
