Pool and billiards have been largely displaced by other forms of entertainment (especially poker), and this is one of the last of the billiards parlors in the area for serious players. World Class has sixteen tables, three of which are devoted to billiards (no pockets). The tables are kept heated around the clock and balls are meticulously cleaned all throughout the day. The hall is the scene of a yearly tournament, and many famous players have been through here at one time or another. Players can game between noon and 8pm for a flat fee of $10.
