Established in 1834, Worcester Academy is a coeducational school serving students in grade six through 12. The school s history and social sciences department provides classes in American government, the civil war, economic, European history, world civilizations and museum studies. Worcester Academy s technological classes include computer applications, documentary film making, video and multimedia design and Web communication. The school has a visual and performing arts department that offers classes in acting, instrumental ensemble, costume design, stage direction and studio art.
