The Wilmington United Methodist Church is known for its active participation in the community as well as it worship services. It also hosts extensive youth and children programs. There is a large youth group that volunteers in the community and participates in yearly mission trips. The church regularly donates to the Wilmington and Burlington food pantries and other local organizations.
