Village Tavern Salem serves food that is made from scratch and its menu includes choices such as wings, stuffed potato cups with pulled pork, salads, smoked brisket sandwiches, and burgers, as well as house favorites authentic smoked BBQ and applewood babyback ribs. A raw bar is available, as well. To accompany, patrons have beverage choices of 14 draft beers and cocktails and can view sport games on one of 16 TVs. Near the bar is a shuffleboard and it is free to play. The restaurant has a quiet outside patio that is free of car exhaust because of how it's situated; it also affords a view of the Peabody Essex Museum.
The restaurant has the facilities to host special sit down and buffet functions that receive unique BBQ catering, including authentic smoked pig roasts.
Village Tavern Salem hosts live entertainment nights every day of the week.
