History
Late architect Malcolm Wells started designing underground buildings in order to save the environment and have more plants and animals live. So he designed this gallery underground. It has sunlight with windows on both the south and north side with an all-glass front. Malcolm died in 2009 but created a lovely space to show Karen's art and sell his books on architecture. Saving the tree trunks on the property, he used them as support beams supporting the 100 tons of earth on top. .
