History

The Townsend house offers a full menu of Home cooked food, real mashed potatoes and the best Homemade onion rings around ... The building was built in 1870 by the Fessence Company, once the the largest Barrel making company in the country Paul and Barbara Dickhaut purchased the building in 1974 and the Townsend house has been family owned and operated ever since
