Located in Medford, Mass., Tisch Library is a part of the Tufts University. The library building is a handicapped-accessible facility and has study spaces, collections, restrooms and an entrance and exit equipped with automatic doors. The library has a wide range of collection of books on arts and humanities, history, languages, medicine, engineering science and general social sciences. Its microforms and current periodicals collection includes journals, magazines, and newspapers in various languages, microform sets and United States government publications. It has various readers and printers for microfilm and microfiche. The library also offers a variety of other services that include photocopying, scanning, e-mailing and recording of microform images into electronic format, floppy disks and recordable CDs. The library s media center provides screening facilities and also offers individual media carrels. In addition, Tisch Library houses the Tower Caf that provides a location for students and faculty for discussion and conversations.
