Opened in 2003, Tirnanog Childcare is a privately-owned and run daycare center located in a converted warehouse across from Natick Center. Its name derives from an old Irish belief that a place exists "somewhere between the horizon of the sea, where the sky glows with a beautiful bright light, and everywhere there are boys and girls laughing and singing". If one is forced to grow up, this center is definitely a fun place to do so—with its large, newly-expanded seven classrooms, a kitchen, an indoor-playground for rainy days and an inviting outdoor play area with plenty of toys and water games for hot summer days.
The entire space was designed with Ireland in mind. When converting it over from warehouse to land for the eternally young—the owners only used the brightest, boldest and happiest colors each could find for all the rooms and every toy—in order to evoke the cheerful, traditional Irish streets, each new Natick day.
