The Frye Building, located on Lincoln Street in Marlborough, is one of the city's historical buildings. It was built in 1892 as office space for the Frye Boot Company, which gave the building its name. It was the ornate Hotel Preston for many years. After that, it became a rooming house called the Lincoln Street Inn. It was purchased in 2005 and re-named the Frye Building, and today it has apartments available for rent and small businesses on the ground floor, including a nail salon and a restaurant.
