Sylvan is the largest franchised tutoring service of its kind with nearly 1,000 centers worldwide. Personalized instruction is available in SAT/ACT preparation, study skills/homework help and habits, reading/writing and math. Tutoring is offered for pre-school age up to high school students. This center is located upstairs in the offices above the 400 Franklin Street shopping plaza. In-home and online tutoring services are also available. Sylvan was founded in Portland, Oregon in 1979.
