The Southeastern Massachusetts Educational Collaborative is a public educational collaborative established in 1975, and membership includes seven public school systems. The membership includes Acushnet, Fairhaven, Marion, Mattapoisett, New Bedford, Rochester public schools and the Old Rochester Regional School District. The collaborative offers a wide range of specialized programs, services and placement options for students up to age of 21. It offers education to individuals with developmental disabilities. The center s programs include experiential learning, behavior management and career exploration. Its Transitional Services Program includes its extended day program, supported employment program and training. Southeastern Massachusetts Educational Collaborative is located in New Bedford, Mass.
