The Sherborn Fire Department is proud to serve our local area with the highest quality emergency services, including fire prevention and public safety. From the first officially appointed chief in 1943, Lester Klein, the Sherborn Fire Department has developed a long and rich history and has become an integral part of our community.Located on Rt. 27 in the center of Sherborn, Massachusetts, our state certified personnel respond to a variety of emergency situations. We are comprised of approximetly 50 paid call members providing a multitude of services including fire suppression, rescue, and advanced life support.The following web site has been developed to further our role in the community and make available a variety of information. Town of Natick Fire Dept

Situated in the center of town, the Natick Fire Department boasts four engines, two advanced life support ambulances and a command car to help protect the town. The station in town center is the headquarters for three others in town including South, East and West Natick. The department hosts tours for families and individuals by appointment throughout the year and holds an annual Fire Prevention Week for residents in October.

Holliston Fire Department

In addition to responding to fires and other emergencies, the Holliston Fire Department, under Chief Michael Cassidy, offers low-cost CPR, first aid and fire safety training to the community. HFD also conducts the following inspections: aboveground storage tank installation, fire detection systems, fire suppression systems, kitchen suppression systems, industrial suppression systems, oil burners, propane tank installations, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide and underground storage tank removal/installation. The following permits must also be obtained through the fire department: agricultural burning, black powder, blasting, fireworks, fuel storage and open burning. HFD also partners with Fire Service Exploring, a program for young men and women ages 14-21 who are interested in careers in fire service.

Wayland Fire Department

Wayland's Public Safety Building houses both the Wayland Fire Department and the Wayland Police Department; the building was dedicated August 23, 2003. Wayland has had fire protection, first as a private enterprise, since the mid 1800s. The first station opened in 1878 and moved to a Harrison Street location in 1882. That location was torn down in 1953 and was later replaced with Fire Station 2 at 145 Main Street.
