The treatment for depression depends on the severity and type of depression. Everyone feels down and out at some point. We all want to be happy all of the time, but this is not possible, especially with the world we live in and all of its dangers. For mild cases, treatment for depression is simple as it is a way to train the mind to focus on other issues to keep busy. For severe cases, nothing will be a simple fix. Some people with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or chemical imbalances need medication to cope with everyday life. Both of these are forms of depression, and the treatment for depression can be rehabilitating. Through extensive counseling and medication, we can work through the hard spots in life.
