At Donaldson Home Improvement offers over twenty years of experience in home remodeling. Todd Donaldson, the owner has been a contractor who works really well with us flipping houses. He now has a regular role on our TV show, Flipping Boston, featured on A&E. His knowledge of construction and his experience shows he is well versed in dealing with different obstacles in rehabbing properties. Todd also has a great way of dealing with all sorts of individuals from sub-contractors, suppliers, field producers and building officials. Todd accepts nothing but professionalism and quality work from all his employees and subcontractors. Our relationship is a good fit and is working well for us in a tough market as we all know real estate can be. Through the years my passion for carpentry brought me back to doing both careers that I love and I am lucky enough to continue to do. As I personally became more committed to carpentry projects, I began to feel the pull towards establishing myself as a more legitimate contractor who would be able to offer my customers the services they deserved. It was at the advice of a customer, who suggested it was time to take my business to the next level and become fully licensed and insured that I decided that was indeed exactly what I needed to do. I made the investment in myself by taking classes and attaining the Home Improvement Contractor License in Massachusetts and increased my liability insurance so that I could do more for my customers. Evolution Continues: Soon I found out that by doing more, my customers wanted more. I soon pursued and attained my Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License, Lead Safe Renovation Contractor License and additional insurances that would benefit the employees I would soon hire and the customer base I was building along the way. Donaldson Home Improvement LLC, I hold myself and all of my employees at a higher standard in the industry. Our company focuses on quality and personal integrity. This and other philosophies we use add value. For instance, at the onset of each project, we are sure to establish a common goal with our customer, so that we can be sure to meet or exceed their expectations at the end of the project. Currently I employ five full-time employees. Each of them operates at my standards. Any one representing Donaldson Home Improvement considers each job we are working on the most important one regardless of the size or scope of the project. Giving Back: As mentioned above, I was once a young student of the trade as a teenager. I was fortunate enough to have work for a contractor that was a great role model and teacher. The experience I gained from him was invaluable. It is my hope to use my experience and do the same for kids today. I am glad to have established a relationship with Greater Lowell Technical High School and Lynn Technical High School to find gifted and talented student s to employ during the academic year on the CO-OP program.
