History
Right at Home of Western Massachusetts is an in-home care and assistance agency providing licensed, bonded, background-checked and trained caregivers to assist elderly and disabled adults in their home. Right at Home of Western Massachusetts was founded by Afghanistan veteran Nicholas Colgin. Nick Served 15 months in Afghanistan as a medic with the 82d Airborne. He earned a Bronze Star for his actions overseas and the President has told his story in speeches to the nation by name, at least seven times. After working on policy and legislation, and in the media, on veteran issues, he decided to return to the medical field. Having cared for our men and women overseas, and the Greatest Generation stateside, he felt like it was his duty to his country, and to Springfield, MA, to begin caring for our citizens again.
